AC/Heat pump unit instead of furnace?

I'm looking at some AC unit and found one from Dometic that is an AC/heat pump combo unit.

We live in GA and we don't plan to camp when or where it's cold. I have upgraded to 50 amp service (220v/50amp), although I understand that some campsite will only have 30amp service. Would this is sufficient for early Spring and late Fall chill without installing a separate furnace?

I use the heat pump to take the chill off down to about 40 degrees. Below that it does not work well. Below heat pump range us the propane heater or if plugged in a small portable electric heater.

Heat pump will do ok down to about 40f as mentioned. After that small ceramic heated work well. Sounds like you'll have plenty of juice. Plus if you're plugged in and electric is included it's free, no propane. Just look out for below freezing temps if you don't have tank heaters, consider adding tank heating pads.
