AC dripping water inside

Our 2002 Classic AC is working fine, but it is dripping water onto the floor. I assume the condensation is normal but thought most of it would go outside. There is water coming where it is supposed to be on the outside, but the dripping inside is annoying. Any suggestions? Thanks-

Not normal. 3 things I would look for based on my Classic, which dripped when I got it.

Check to make sure the drain hose located in the streetside wheel well is dripping condensation water while the unit is running. If it is not, the hose is either plugged with debris, or has come loose at the A/C drain pan.

The drain pan itself could be cracked and allowing the water to sit on the roof and find its way between the roof panel and the bottom of the A/C unit.

There is an additional application of sealer around the inside perimeter of the "hole" in the roof outer skin where the A/C is mounted (supposed to be a watertight gasket between the A/C and the roof....but we all know the definition of watertight on these trailers is a mater of opinion!) . Mine would only leak when washing or a driving rain from the streetside. I could see a pinhole in the sealer. I reapplied sealer and problem went away.

There is a drain for the condensate that on a lot of AS trailers drips out near the street-side wheels. Mine is behind the wheels; it's just a small black rubberish hose.

Have a look underneath in that area, and if you can find it, try poking a heavy gauge fishin line up it. Some members talk about chucking the fishing line in their drill to ream the junk out.

Oh, one other item. If your A/C shroud is cracked, which they do, due to UV degradation, water could find its way through the compressor/evaporator/mechanicals compartment down to the inside shroud. Can you pull off the inside shroud and locate where the drip is coming from on the unit? That will help us narrow down your issue somewhat.

I've had pine/fir needles plug the drains, causing interior leaks. I blew the lines out with a low pressure air compressor, worked fine. I now do it every season.

Pappy we had that in our 71 it was due to temp different out side we had our windows open and running our ac humid outside it developed a large temp change inside where the humidly developed on our ac inside and dripped from the cover inside checked everything and all worked fine so we tried closing windows and it solved it. we were in Santa Fe did not seem to be that much humidity but we created it inside by the temp difference between the inside and windows open.......... hope this helps
