A/C Replacement - transition to curve of roof

I am about to change out the old Bay Breeze A/C and go with a Coleman. I am concerned about the Coleman going onto the curve of the 64 Safari roof. Does anyone know if there is transition piece that can be bought to fit this roof curve, assuming something like that is needed. Would I need to have a transition piece fabricated by a sheetmetal shop or is this not a big deal putting a modern A/C on the Airstream curvature?? As always, thanks in advance. Jim

Your mounting seal should conform enough to mount and seal, the inside is a little harder, you may want to grind your flange to fit or some fancy woodworking to match contour.Dave

If your roof curve drops more than 1" across the 14" X 14" opening, you may want to add a second gasket seal to the existing one on the bottom or the A/C frame. This will assure a complete seal to your roof.
