A/C not cooling

Just returned from a week-long trip in our '16 26u and a/c worked fine the whole time. Went out today and fans were blowing but no a/c. Did a reset on the ccc2 control and no change. I figured out how to get into diagnostic mode and all checks out OK except Diagnostic Command 9, which shows that the Zone 1 remote temp sensor has a code E2 (missing remote sensor). Zone 2 shows the indoor temp as it should. I thought the temp sensor for Zone 1 is actually inside the ccc2 control. Is my next option to call AS or go direct to Dometic?

Took AS to North Dallas RV and they replaced both a/c units under warranty. They said that the coils on one unit looked like they had gotten hot because they were discolored. This was my first experience with ND and I was impressed. Both the service manager and the tech spent time explaining what was done and why. The tech helped hook everything up without becoming a distraction. I highly recommend them in the Dallas/Ft Worth area.

What was actually wrong with your ACs that would effect both of them?

Story I got was that after over a week of trying to solve the problem, Dometic decided to just replace both of them. North Dallas just knew that they tried everything Dometic suggested and it didn't fix it. So much for the onboard diagnostics which only indicated a missing front sensor.

Good that they were able to work with you to your satisfaction. Sounds like a good business to do business with.
