A/C Compressor won't cycle off

I finally installed a 30 amp dedicated circuit at the house to be able to run the original AC in the Trade Wind while at home. I have not run the AC a lot but yesterday I noticed a problem in that the compressor never cycles off. I can set the thermostat to 90 and the compressor still runs. The unit works great, but after about an hour the inside is freezing. Any ideas on what to check or replace would be appreciated. The unit does have a new fan motor so is has been worked on in the past.

The thermostat would be the first thing I would check.

The contacts in the run relay, are burned together, so it doesn't matter what you do with the thermostat.

That is not uncommon.
