Had a new A/C installed last week on my 76 Sovereign,now I have a new leak. One service department told me that I need a drain pain adapter and the company that actually did the install told me that I did not it and I now have a leak from the rain not from the drain.Should I have had the drain pain or was it just a bad install?It did come with a warranty.

Drain pans are only available for the Duotherm Penguin AC.

If you have a Carrier AC, no drain pan is needed.

If you have neither of these two, then your shop people need to go back to school.

I have the Duo Therm13,500.Thanks for the info.I found a drain pan for it so I'm hoping that I can get my install fee back from Camping -World and take it to Three Way Camper where they have what I need. I also need to replace my city water intake from the bumper where could I get one?

You should have a drain pan and it could also have been installed poorly.

Yup, don't forget to stick a air hose up the drain every season to blow it free.

I have a drip through the AC vents in my 1990 Excella. I just brought it home last night and ran AC overnight with no drip. It started about 16 hours after it was turned on. I assume the drip is from condensation from up top because of a stopped up drain? I saw no water coming from any tubes which I think I should have as humid as it has been.
When I dropped the inner cover, the water appears to channeling down the wiring bundle. Does that go to the outside?
Do you have to get on top and take the shroud off to get to the drain tube to blow out? Where would it be located? I could not find a model number, but it says it is a Super Mach.
I guess I will have to seal with something around the wiring harness from the top also?

See post # 5. The pan could be leaking, but I doubt it. My drain(s) are at roadside, but not sure of yours, crawl around, you'll find it. Andy is right about the AC, you can only get pans for the Duotherm.

If I recall correctly, the drain tube outlet is just ahead of the forward tire on the street side on your unit..
