'69 Sovereign AC maintenance

Hello all. This is my first Airstream and I will have to say, I am having a blast getting this trailer back in shape. It amazes me how 45 year old quality is still evident in this camper.

The original Armstrong ac is still working and cooling well. I do have a couple of issues I'm trying to work out.

1. I need to work on the condensate drain, clean the coils, and repair some rust damage to the interior shroud, but cannot figure out how to remove the shroud.

2. The ac only works on low fan. When I turn the wall thermostat to high fan, the unit shuts off.

The fan motors on these have separate windings for each speed. If one speed isn't working, either the relay is bad, the wiring is bad, or (most likely) it's the motor itself.

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully it's just a relay. The compressor doesn't start either when the switch is on high.
