Does anyone know where I can get a roof air conditioner installed around the Sarasota Florida area? My Overlander came with window air mounted in cabinet in kitchen...just blew cold air into cabinets! Is it possible to have a roof mount? How can I tell if it is pre-wired? Does the roof have to be cut? Scary!
Thanks for all the help. Love this forum!

Yes, the wiring is in the roof.

A 14 x 14 hole must be cut in the roof. That area must then be beefed up, front to back and side to side. Not a biggie to do.

DO NOT attempt to mount the AC in a ceiling vent. Let me know when your ready and I can give you the location of the roof wire.

The other end of the wire is next to the breaker box. Pull the breaker box out a bit and you will see the wire.

What is not built in is a drain line.

Installing a Carrier AC, eliminates the need for a drain line or a drain pan.

I will not be back in my office until Oct 29th.
