2013 Dometic Air Distribution Box Removal

I'm okay working with things on trailers if I've done it before or have seen it done. Removing the interior A/C shroud is something I've not done before.

Recently, at Jackson Center, I had the tech check the A/C condensation flow. He removed the box, inspected the lines and assured me that things were fine.

Problem was, he reattached the box incorrectly and missed one of the tabs that secure the box to the ceiling. And the center vent (not the down vent, but the one that delivers air to the upper part of the trailer) knob now refuses to seat itself in the notches. Perhaps the tech flipped the vent in reinstalling.

Question. Has anyone removed the box and how difficult is it. I've read the installation manual and it shows the screw locations, but are there any other hidden "gottchas" that I should be aware of?
