1978 Armstrong Repair?

Does anyone rebuild these units? I believe the compressor has failed. Don't know whether to try and fix or just get a new A/C unit. Ran great for 37 years. Would like to keep it going.

Armstrong ac much better than new throw away units. Click forums on blue banner at top of page. Under general repairs find many posts about Armstrong ac. IMO I would keep & have repaired if needed.
