'16 Flying Cloud 25a heat pump condensate running down outer skin
Wow, I've searched, and read, and pondered.
We have what I believe to be a condensate tube exiting the driver side front wheel well of our 2016 flying cloud. It's a nice size tube, I'll guess an inner diameter of a half inch or more.
When we run our heat pump, water comes down the side of our airstream.
I'd like some clarification.
1.) Is heat pump condensate supposed to run down this tube or not? (I've read maybe not, possibly just A/C condensate)
2.) If heat pump condensate IS supposed to run down this tube, then what we may have is a warranty issue.
3.) Since I'm kinda handy, if there is an easy fix, please advise.
I have read about compressed air up.....compressed air from top down (though I'd like to know a detailed method how/where to access the condensate tube on our unit from the top.....stout trimmer line shoved up the tube, etc. etc.
Any help appreciated, I'd like to repair myself, but will tow to Ohio, or a reputable mid atlantic dealer that could fix, if necessary.
thanks,
