The insulation does not touch the exhaust pipe, and
Before installation, check the insulation material for fire resistance.

Looks good! i'll hopefully be doing something similar with a cubic mini wood stove.

Is that double walled vent pipe?

No I use a single walled pipe. the pipe heats the room too

Just check for creosote build up in a few months of your using it frequently. These little wood stoves trend to build up quickly due to the low exhaust temps. Your vent does have a shorter distance than a house though
