Nice job! I'm a bit curious as to how well a wood stove hold up on a mobile camper. Do most people who install a wood stove use their Airstream like a cottage( i.e. rarely move)? Or does the piping for the stove hold up when rattled around often?

Very cute little stove. Let us know how it goes.
Do you need to notify this kind of installation to the Schornsteinfeger?

Nice job. I like the music too. The Dickerson is a nice stove. A company called Marine Stove makes some nice small cast iron stoves that I've seen installed in Airstream's too

Thanks for the great DIY video. I have purchased the propane version of the Dickinson Newport heater and will be installing it in April. The chimney is double walled, flexible piping so hopefully it will be easier to install.

The Dickinson marine and RV products are awesome. I did not know they made an actual wood burning stove. We looked at the LP model but they are not recommended at higher altitudes but the wood stove would certainly work. Thank you for sharing! (I have no relation to the Dickinson products company even though my last name is spelled the same)

Nicely done in a craftsman like manor. Wonder how the fiberglass insulation touching the chimney will do?

Bolted down with flexible chimney mount works great.

Hi mike, for me is also very important that everthing works during travel. part 2 shows some installation details.

Lol thats a good question, but I have no stove in my Rv thats a Air Outlet But anyway its a trailer and not a house and I' don't care about regulation. For me a save installation that fits the specification from the manufacture is more important.

The insulation does not touch the exhaust pipe, and
Before installation, check the insulation material for fire resistance.

Looks good! i'll hopefully be doing something similar with a cubic mini wood stove.
Is that double walled vent pipe?

Just check for creosote build up in a few months of your using it frequently. These little wood stoves trend to build up quickly due to the low exhaust temps. Your vent does have a shorter distance than a house though
