Our is getting installed along with our other appliances while I'm traveling for family matters. I'm excited to check it our when I get home in a little over a week. Hope everything works.

Everything fires up and seems to work. Haven't finished the reno, so no cooking with it yet.

Love that stove! Should be an optional upgrade for all models

Got our CU-434 installed recently - not plumbed, but I finished the housing for it. Countertops (2 cm thick manmade quartz) were dropped off yesterday as well.

Because neither my lower cabinet - nor their measurements - were perfectly square, I'll have to make minor adjustments to the cabinet using a sander or jigsaw... and they'll have to recut the piece between the oven and bulkhead wall. I'm confident we'll get the oven flush against the stone on both sides and mark this off the to-do list.

Love the quartz counters with the CU-434 Any idea what the counters weigh?

If you like the stove and it's quality, maybe you could have a LPG technician check it
for safety and performance, then decide whether to replace/retain. Did that on my 1989 Excella and the unit checked out as almost brand new, so I kept it in place...

We installed the Dometic CU434 stove in both the 2014 Classic and the 2015 23D International Serenity. We also installed magnetic stainless steel side splash panels.

We retrofitted Vitrifrigo 12Vdc DanFoss freon compressor refrigerators in both trailers as well. As they are marine units, they both were slightly narrower than the ones they replaced and the one for Classic was enough shorter we made a custom storage space above it.

Good question. It's 2cm or about .75", around 8 feet long, minus the cutouts for the sink and oven. My guess is 110-120 pounds. We also have a dinette table in the same material, 46" by 32" and maybe 75 lbs. Far heavier than I would like, but hopefully I've balanced the layout well enough that it won't cause problems.

We'll use a Hensley Cub, so that should help also.

Installed my wife's new SMEV range oven. She's happy, so I'm happy!

Why do all replacement ranges look so cheap?

How did you fill the gap without installing a new counter top surface? My understanding is that the new unit is slightly narrower than the old one (but I could be wrong). did this turn out to be a drop in replacement with no modifications to the cabinetry necessary?

Could you provide a photo top-down of the new stove?

I bought a new trailer and I have the same crummy stove from airstream now. I'm looking to also replace like I did on my other trailer.

Looks great!
