Trouble shooting 64 magic chef stove

I'm able to get all four burners to burn normally, but only able to get a faint flame of a pilot light on the oven's pilot?

the round pilot in the picture (boot legged from another thread) is similar to mine, and I only get a small flame, less than the match stick's flame.

where do I start trouble shooting this?

Hi 59'er, There is an adjustment for the pilot light wayyy back in the back of the oven. If it is anything like mine, it should be on top of this little fitting that the gas line for the pilot comes out of. It is a very small screw. Try turning that and see if your pilot flame gets larger. I would take the assembly out and clean it if that doesn't work.

ahh ok, Well then I suggest that you soak it in solvent to loosen what ever is stuck in the orifice. Then blow it out with compressed air, backwards. Let me know how it works out.
