I am trying to adjust the thermocouple on the constant pilot in my tappan mighty mite 4 burner stove/oven. (63 Safari) I was wondering if anyone knows how to adjust this properly, I had it workin ( cycling off and on with the thermostat) before I put the cover in over the burner, what i am thinkin is that with the added heat due to the pan being in there that that is keeping the thermocouple warm enough to keep the valve open all the way. I am going to back the termocoupling adjustment out one more turn to see if that solves the problem. If not i am going to assume that the thermostat has crapped out. Anyone know of a source for parts for these. I need a pilot for two of the top burners. Thanks for any advice on the adjustment on the stove and the parts.
