Stove Knobs

Hi All
Does anyone have or know where i can purchase the knobs for the gas burners on a '70 overlander, its a 4 burner cooktop, but all the new ones I have seen are 2 or 3 burner. I don't even know what brand as I can't find a label anywhere. Thanks for any information.
James

James,
Do you have a single knob that you could take a picture of and post it? I know I did have some in my shop and others may too, but we don't necessarily know what they came from.
Could the stove be a Majic Chef that far back?

I agree, post some pics.

Yes, Magic Chef could be that far back. Our stove is a Magic Chef and we have a 1963 Bambi....

Might check Vintage Trailer Supply... I think they might have replacement knobs that will fit the size and shape of the rod. (I may be dreaming about this too.... )

It is more than likely a Magic Chef. Check your local appliance parts house, they will have knobs that will fit. May not look exacty like the orginal, but they will work better than a pair of vice grips

Yall are right! Its a magic chef, Its hard to read the model number though
I read it as T440-1 but the "T" must be wrong because that model can't be found. I will continue to research.
thanks again for the help

James,
Take a picture of the whole stove, somebody can probably ID it that way. Is it just the cooktop or the whole thing? If it is the stove top, I wouldn't be suprised if it is the same model as what is in my 1975.

James,
It is highly likely that you can purchase the knobs you need from Airstream still. If they have them, you will need to contact an Airstream dealer to order and pay, yet twhen they order them from Airstream, they will be sent direct to you. If you call Jackson Center, they can tell you if they have the part, and what the part number is.

There are magic chef knob sets listed in the big RV Parts and Accessory book that almost all big RV dealers have in their stores . The part no. is 73-8051 , price in 2000 was 15 bucks . Good luck

Here is a knob from the oven, it fits on the stove but I don't know if its the same style but it doesn't matter to me. The hole is about 3/8 of an inch.
Sorry I missed your call, please call again Richard!
thanks
James

I have been searching for your knobs, but they are not where I thought I had put them! I will call when I find them.
