That is a judgemental call..Personally, I'd rather use '303 UV Inhibator'.

Vern

I'll take that under advisement.

I am also looking at shining my stovetop. I tried to get replacement parts from inland...and will try another today. Why don't they make these???? (and i don't want to hear because they are outdated!!) But, I guess I am resigned to shining (as best I can) the parts i have. I did find that the copper polish from the grocery store, a green scrunge and a lot of elbow grease does a fairly good job. I also scraped some of the corrosion with a scraper which cut down on some of my polishing time. Still working and still looking.

Of course. But you need to pass the current through a rotary motion generator (RMG) to do any good. You should attach a sheepskin bonnet to the RMG.

Just couldn't Resist

M,

So if I jack up my Overlander and wrap my jumper cables around the tires. Then have the neighborhood kid spin the tires, is that a RMG? If not, will I need 4 kids? Then would I need to alter my wheel bearing packing schedule? Speaking of packing, what is the cycle life of a 10 yo kid?

I had mine sandblasted and powdercoated. It came out quite nice. There are dozens of powdercoat companies in just about every city. You can even buy a powdercoat kit from Harbor Freight for less than $100. You can get sample powder from many of the big companies. They send out small amounts, which is perfect for AS projects. Then all you need is an oven to bake them in.
