My plan is to use the UDDEN sink combo and then make cabinets underneath for the water system, filter and furnace.
IKEA | Free-standing kitchens | UDDEN free-standing kitchens system | UDDEN | Single bowl sink with legs
Also on Ebay... the price for the 3-burner SMEV is back to the $240.10 price for those interested.

Have you installed yours yet? I've been reviewing the manual and I guess it lost something in translation. I hope it will make more sense when I'm looking at the unit and its proposed home.

No, not yet... the kitchen in the airstream is destroyed right now.
Also I mislayed the darn camera download cable... and the Olympus uses a special cable. However, this motivated to just by 3 cable on e-bay so should have the pic up in a week or so when the cables come in.

Here's our installation
This is a 'before' picture from the original purchase of the MH
Since the cutout for the old stove was the wrong size, we had to replace part of the counter.
Here's the new counter base with cutout:
Stove in place:
Had the new counter covered in stainless and added a 'side splash' on the left.

Looks great and I like the way you did the splash guard on the left side. Nice work.

On the SMEV page you reference, it's under the "Hobs" link. I'm not sure of the origins of that word!

I just bought a SMEV, but did not come with a fitting kit. Did yours? Was there any issue with connecting it? I have to buy it from UK.

Not sure what you mean by a fitting kit.
Mine came with a supplemental regulator and everything I needed to connect to my existing gas supply line.

Mine was factory original equipment. Sorry, no insights to offer on connecting.
