Slide In vs. Drop In Stovetop

I am planning on completely rebuilding the galley in our "74" Tradewind. The old stove will go. For those that have rebuilt the countertop, how many have installed a new stovetop. Did you use a drop in stovetop or a slide in stovetop. Are there any advantages of one over the other? What brand did you install? Thanks!

Here is a drop in Amana stove. No particular reason. Just looks nicer than the other stove that i've seen.
