Should new oven be fastened down?

My dear wife bought us a very nice convection oven for our Overlander. She wants me to install it permanently (bolted down) in the alcove by the sink. I suggested that we make it so that the oven will slide in and out so it can be removed and packed safely away while we travel. I am worried that being bolted down will cause the oven to shake itself to pieces. Any thoughts on this?
