Sharp "Half-Pint" microwave WATTS?

I've got an old Sharp Carousel "half-pint" (Model R1A56) microwave. I can't find anything on the unit that says how many WATTS it takes, and can't find a manual online anywhere. I'm trying to figure out how large a solar panel I need to install on my '66 Caravel, and need the Wattage info. Anyone know?

Amazon has Sharp Half Pint Microwaves for sale, and lists them as 0.5 cubic feet, 600 watts.

However, Amazon lists the model number as R120PK, not R1A56, so it might not be the same as yours. Can't imagine it would be different, though, because it's the same name.

Please note that is output watts not input (unless you assume about 105% power conversion efficiency).

While trying to figure out your solar panel size you need to determine how much you will use the microwave and battery capacity more then wattage. Microwave ovens that use less wattage take longer to cook the same amount of food so wattage per minute doesn't mean that much.

The real reason you need the wattage is to find out what size inverter you need. For a 600 watt microwave I would guess a minimum 1000 watt inverter.
