Sharp convection microwave

The Sharp convection microwave in our '96 34' Excella died yesterday. Do any of you folks have a clue where I can find a direct replacement?

Seems like Sharp discontinued this model a couple of years ago, and none of the new models fit the hole in the cabinet....We're on a trip for another month or so, and trying to find a simple solution to this...

I can modify the cabinet, to fit another one, but not until we return and have access to my shop....


I've tried etrailer.com, and all the other links I have but so far no luck..

Our 2015 came with Sharp convection microwave.. POS! died 9 months after warranty (12 mos). Dealer suggested local repair shop. They said Sharp doesn't mfc repair parts. I called Sharp. Same answer. AS must have got a super deal to buy Sharp.
Why didn't they use Dometic? All the other appliances, frig, stove, ACs are Dometic.

Our Sharp convection/microwave died this week. Checked most all retailers in So Cal, no luck. Found a match at Walmart.com. It's on the way. Maybe they have a match for your rig. This is the unit I ordered.https://www.walmart.com/ip/Sharp-R83...Black/44122378
I have used PPL for other items, they are great to deal with.

One thing I did find during my search for a replacement was that almost all of the countertop models cannot be safely built into a cabinet, as there is no way to vent the heat out of the cabinet.
I finally found a "Mauve" brand that is used in the marine industry, that fit, and is approved for in cabinet installation.

We've had ours for nearly a year now, and have been satisfied with it. It's a little different to operate than the Sharp, but that is no problem.
