Question Remove the stove vent-hood for painting

Hello experts!

I was wondering how hard it would be to get the stove vent hood off of my '92 Excella. This is a most disgusting looking object. It is hooked up with the no-longer-working gauges for the tanks, the ac power light, the pump switch, stove light and fan switches.

I've tried to clean the thing but it isn't working (standing on my head almost). I'm taking the stove folding cover to be blasted and powder coated and I was wishing I could take this too. Seems difficult though - any thoughts?
