Range replacement recommendations?

I'm looking for recommendations on which range to purchase for our 1974 Sovereign renovation. We have four children and use both the cooktop and oven frequently when we camp.
Any comments on a particular company or model to go with or stay away from?

Thanks,

Grant

I know this is a little late, but...

We bought a 22" Magic Chef from Tweetys.com for about $425 - shipping included.

Thanks. We ended up getting an Amana last weekend. Haven't installed it yet.

We also just ordered an Amana 22" oven/stove in black from Camper's World to replace our Magic Chef that the thermostat went caplooy. It is supposed to come on a tractor trailer tomorrow (how they will fit it in our neighborhood I have no idea).

We got the same 22" Amana 3-burner cook top (high BTU front burner, two lower BTU burners in back) to replace the Magic-chef combo unit. For the oven, which isn't used quite as much for us, we installed a microwave/convection unit. It pulls 1400watts which is powered by a 2500 inverter.

For boondocking, we rely on a fully charged battery bank topped off by the 200w/60VDC solar panel. We very rarely pull the 2kw Honda out of the Suburban!

Hope this helps...
