Oven Range Adjustment 1970's

Had a few people ask for this information. Thought I'd post it here in case others need it as well. The oven temp. adjustment mentions using "an old knob" with the center drilled out. Not available obviously. I used a pencil to mark the position of the shaft and a mark on the panel to match that up to. Held the shaft in place with pliers and adjusted the screw as in the instructions. Not as easy but with patience it works.
