oven bulbs?

I have the cool "Custom Airstream Magic Chef" wall oven in my Overlander and the bulb has gone out. I know it used to work but am not sure what's happened to it. None of my manuals cover the bulb replacement. Does anyone know if it is 12v DC or 120v AC? It takes a medium base bulb, I guess it needs to be rated for oven use. I put a 120 volt bulb in it and nothing. (Yes, I had the trailer plugged in to shore power) I know if it is a 120v appliance bulb, they are very common for household use but if it is a 12v bulb I have never heard of a 12v oven bulb. Any thoughts?

It's a 12 Volt bulb. Any RV supply will have them.

Thanks Pick.

I just never heard of a 12 volt oven bulb. As a matter of fact I've really never heard of an RV having an bulb in the oven in the first place, these Airstreams are something else, aren't they??

BTW

I have heard of folks installing vintage 120v wall light fixtures in older trailers and using the 12v oven bulbs in them. Much easier and better appearance than converting the fixture to small 12v bulbs.
