Original microwave in 2007 27' Safari SE FB

Anyone know what the original microwave would have been in the 2007 Sarari - 27', FB SE. I have an empty pull out shelf with cutouts for feet, but I don't know what will fit. Thanks!

The brand name was Tappan - the model I don't know. Normally the microwave only comes on models with the propane oven. If you have a convection microwave under your burners - congratulations, you have extra cupboard space. The downside is that you can't bake in your oven without an electrical hookup or a hefty generator. Ok, you CAN dutch oven cook over a charcoal fire outside.

If you have a conventional propane oven, something happened to the Tappan microwave. It's very small - designed for popcorn and warming water/coffee. I believe I saw it in a marine catalog somewhere.

Call the factory in the morning, they can tell you the model.

So... you found a used 27 FB. I'm impressed, very few people seem to be letting go of them.

Ours has a Tappan 5030B. The B indicates the color. [B]lack, [W]hite or [S]ilver.

It's only 550 watts so don't expect too much from it.

I have the same thing and it isn't good for anything but warming. It won't even pop popcorn. Someday we will replace it.

I would try to find a good quality microwave small enough to fit in that space. Or, you might get a small microwave for your counter top (I know there isn't much room). Reclaiming the space in microwave drawer for more pantry or storage would be nice.
