Help! I have located a period correct vintage stove to use when I restore my
1955 22' Safari (it currently has a 1970's replacement stove). The problem is that the stove is in eastern Oregon and I am in lower Michigan. I am looking for someone who will be traveling from somewhere near eastern Oregon to somewhere near lower Michigan that could transport the stove for a small fee. I can try to make arrangements to get the stove to you if you are near eastern Oregon and I can travel a bit to pick it up if you get near lower Michigan. Right now the prospect of crating and shipping a heavy stove via a shipping company is not too attractive.
Since I am not in a hurry, another option would be for any WBCCI members that are traveling from Oregon or nearby to the WBCCI International Rally in Madison, Wisconsin in June. I will be attending that Rally and could pick up the stove there.
