Moving the Original Oven

My husband and I just bought our first Airstream. We are now the proud owners of a 1972 Sovereign 31', which we plan to refurb/remodel. We would like to try to keep the original stovetop (a four-burner), and the original Magic Chef Oven. The oven needs a little help ( new latch, etc.), but nothing we can't handle. I'm sure we'll encounter far more important questions down the road, but for now I was wonderingI was if anyone has reused their original oven by reinstalling it in a different part of the galley, say under the cooktop? You see, I love the vintage look and feel of the old Magic Chef, and I definitely want an oven in our home on wheels ( being an avid pie baker), I just hate its current location. It's not space efficient and the backside sticking into the bedroom is just plain ugly. So, has anyone successfully moved their Magic Chef to a different part of the galley?
