Microwave vs. stove?
We've decided to replace our original stove in our '64 Overlander. Just wondered what a good replacement might be (stove vs. microwave). Brand names and types would be helpful also. Thanks!

We replaced our original range with a Wedgewood range. I love the oven but Phil lights it for me. It does require getting down and lighting the pilot light. *)*
A lot of people really like just having a convection oven/microwave. Good luck!

I like the convection oven idea, but I have to have a stovetop. I've found the convections with a 2-range top. I wonder if they're very good.

The convection microwave is ok...takes a little getting used to, but you'll miss the conventional oven. Now have a regular microwave and conventional oven....like the combo! just our opinion.

I have a cook top with a convection microwave. I wish I had an oven.

Microwave is good, convection is good. A traditional oven is great! In the trailer, remember you must have power for the microwave, boondocking will eliminate the possibility of useage. A gas oven, you can cook when there is no power!

We have the original stove/oven in the safari and put the same unit in the Tradewind. Love cooking when we camp both inside and outside and of course when boondocking the over is perfect, especially for Thanksgiving in the Airstream.
