Microwave Mounting Question

My wife is more than unhappy with the Sharp Convection / Microwave in our 02 Safari 25. She has tried and she just is not happy with it. I am replacing it with a normal RV gas range and adding a small microwave. I have noticed that many AS have a small microwave mounted in the wall of the galley into the area where my pantry is. She would like to have the microwave mounted in that fashion. The problem is that my pantry only appears to be about 9" wide. Is the pantry wider in the AS with the microwave mounted through the wall or does the microwave extend over into the closet? Pictures would help if anyone has pictures.
