Magic Chef range - LP slide-in cooktop/convection oven swap...

Greetings from a new member!

Does anyone have any issues with replacing the Magic Chef range unit with a gas cooktop (Suburban slide-in model) and a Contoure RV Microwave Convection oven?

I'm a bit concerned with the heat given off by a convection oven that is in close proximity of the gas cooktop.

We hardly ever use the Magic Chef oven, but use a portable microwave quite a bit. We're trying to save space by using the existing oven space with the Contoure microwave/convection unit.

Thanks in advance for any advice you have out there....!
