The inside glass exploded on my oven door (1971 Magic Chef oven). Are parts still available for these? If so, who would I contact? Am I better off replacing the Magic Chef with a new oven. Please advise if you have an knowledge on this topic.
Parts and a replacement oven are going to be hard to find. Your best bet is going to either find a unit in a salvage yard; try Colaw's or someone parting out a unit. FWIW I have been searching for a replacement oven and 4 burner stove top, mainly out of curiosity Dometic makes one but it is only available in Europe, not sure if a gas oven from Europe can be made to work in the US.
