Magic Chef countertop range

Restoring "66 Overlander. I have replaced countertops and unfortunately cut hole for existing magic chef "model 34" drop in 3 burner range top. Mine is pretty rusted and I have priced out replating surfaces and it's pretty prohibitive. Has anyone found a source of parts for these old ranges or have one that has been removed for an updated installation? Burner box body is 13 1/2" x 31".
Does anyone make a new unit of this size?
Thanks for any help - James

James, I'm in the process of restoring a '65 tradewind with a similar problem. The surface should be steel, so you wouldn't replate, but have it polished. There is a place here in Portland called "Polishing by Tim" and he quoted my $60.00 to refinish mine. Go to the web, do a google on "refinishing steel" and you should be able to find someone local. Regards, David
