How to Anchor a Freestanding Stove?

My newly purchased '47 comes with a nice stove/oven, but it is not anchored to the floor or wall. The flooring is new and extends underneath where the stove should be installed. I am concerned about how to anchor it down but am worried about screwing anything in to the floor plywood make more problems for myself. I thought about installing trim pieces for the stove to sit in, but maybe thats not such a good idea because of the heat generated by the oven/broiler. This is a toughie, and I sure would appreciate some wisdom.
