Having it ALL

I ordered my International CCD with the Microwave/Thermal/Convection oven. I hated the Sharp. IMHO, it was overly complex to operate. I dumped it and installed the Cuisinart which is more user friendly (and looks better, I might add). The downside of the microwave/convection is: no 110, no cooking. SO, a couple of weeks ago at Alumapalooza, the friendly factory folks had a sale on stuff, and I picked up a NEW Amana gas cooktop/oven for $300. Guess what? I was able to do some carpentry work and drop in the new cooktop/oven, and still have enough room BELOW the gas oven for my new Cuisinart. Yes, I do have to get on the floor, but there is no other place I could have done this. Miraculously, there was enough space behind the microwave for breathing space....just a couple of flexible heat ducts and some wiring (oh, and several pieces of cut aluminum...left there by the factory for me to find). So I can have my cake (in my gas oven), and eat it without having to plug in to bake it! Amazing what you can customize in an Airstream...

That looks good.

Coincidentally, I know where there is a like-new Sharp convection microwave for sale. For further info, contact the OP...

Congratulation for the good job!
As an additional information for the people may have some interest, I made a similar modification in a 2008 Safari SE 19' by adding a microwave/convention oven. The retain model was a Panasonic (model NN-CS597S) for the following reasons: Width & Height fitting into the "standard" mounting faceplate (quite a challenging job), door hinge located horizontally to have an easy access to the oven, quality of the product and easy going GUI software. Some pictures attached...
