Gas Oven to Replace Convection/Microwave

Hello again. As some of you know, we recently purchased an '05 30 foot Classic. Well, it came with a Convection/Microwave and gas cooktop. We would like to have a regular gas oven.

We know that we can have the cooktop and drawers replaced with an oven/range combination, but we were thinking we would like to replace the Convection/Microwave instead. So, does anyone know of a wall oven that is gas only? Not requiring 120VAC also? We found some gas ovens that would work width-wise, but they require 120VAC for the control circuitry. The width that would fit is a 24 inch oven with about a 22 inch cutout opening.

Thanks,
David

I recently located a marine wall oven that runs on propane and uses a AA battery for the ignition. It is fairly expensive but I am saving my pennies now to get one for my refurb.
Force 10 is the manufaturer and the Model name is "Perigord". If you search the west marine site it will come up.

Jay.

looks nice but too big,

don't have the exact dimensions but my wall cavity on my 1972 27' is much smaller, it has the factory magic chef wall oven.

Why not buy the one that fits your opening and your budget and mount an INverter to feed the 120v controls 12v?

I have a wiring schematic to build one, but have reached my photo limit on the forum. Guess I should become a contributing member in a few weeks. Do a search online, there are free schemas, or goto an electric supply house and pick the countr guys brain for the best one. Good luck.
