Franklin Chef Microwave

I hope this doesn't come thru twice, but I was trying to upload pictures and I was re-directed. Anyway, my wife & I own a 2014 27' International Sterling and while on a trip last year we stopped for lunch in the AS and then got back on the road. Imagine our surprise when we stopped for the night and found the sliding panel door that keeps the microwave in place was not closed at departure. The microwave was a disaster, but I was able to salvage the control board for it. Notice, in order to save the marriage I am not assigning blame. Is anyone interested in the control board? I will ship it out free with a little help on shipping costs. Thanks! BoMan

Luckily, microwaves are not very expensive.

On our last trip, the convection microwave in our 1999 died. I checked fuses, nuker, etc. All seemingly good. So we replaced it with a new, non-convection unit of the same brand. The dimensions were close enough that I was able to use the original mounting brackets with some minor modification.

Lynn, it is one thing to have an appliance die, but to not close a door so it goes flying out during travel is such a bonehead thing to do. Granted, we have only been Airstreamers since 2014, and have actually traveled many miles since then, but I guess we all have senior moments and can't remember everything.
