Hello all,
I am going to be remodeling my '75 Ambassador this holiday break. I am looking to get rid of the original oven/cook top and install a new cook top and want to install a convection toaster oven. That been said, I am worried about it getting too hot once I lock it down in what ever kind of cabinet I install. Also a little worried about the power that it will pull. I have a 30 amp service and don't want to have to go around and shut things off when I want to cook something. Any thoughts or suggestions to ease my mind?
A single power cord which you can plug into the power pedestal would solution power issue.
Leave a little air gap around the MW for proper cooling and at space dictated in specs for your MW of Choice. Usually there is a "mount" kit with proper trim and vents.
