Has anyone used the Rustoleum appliance paint on their oven/refrigerator? I'm toying with the idea of changing the color of the original milk chocolate appliances........
It will not last like the original baked-on finish.
I had a household cooktop painted by good people I trusted. They did fine work. But the new color did not have the same resistance to normal cleaning that the original, baked-on color had. Nicks & scratches rapidly appeared.
Yes, we used it on ours. It looks really nice but we havent used the stove yet so it is hard to say how it will stand up. There is a post on here somewhere showing the steps I took.
Been there, done that - regretted it.
I've used it on a washer / dryer, worked ok, scratches rapidly appeared though as noted above.
Used it on a stove top and oven door in a previous S.O.B. trailer we owned. The heat from the propane stove immediately started to bubble the paint, and I was able to remove it all without much effort. Stayed with the original color after that.
