yea..my fridge works

well, after sitting for 15 years I plugged it into the generator and in about 1.5 hours my inside temp of freezer was 28 degrees, and the bottom was cooling down as well. Sure is nice knowing it works and I now only have to replace the doors. The A/c unit on the other hand may need replace it would not kick on, and that is with a 4k gen running at a good and high rpm, it just would not go. it was trying so I shut it down right away.

Pull off the outer cover on that A/C. Look for mud daubber nests. I had some on the fan. On our the same motro that drive the outer fan also drove the inner fan. They built a nest between the blades and the condensor coils. The result was no fan but the compressor did fire off. Found the nest and cleaned it off. Works great now.

This is common problems with water heaters and heaters as well.
