trouble with Dometic 2510

I just installed a new dometic RM2510 and can't make it run on gas or electric. The instructions say when you turn the switch to gas the indicater light will come on but mine does not. I know that I have gasto the unit as well as 110 volts. Wondering if there is a fuse I should check.
Or does anyone have any other ideas?

You have to have 12 volts to it too or it won't work on either gas or electric.

True, there will be a fuse in your panel for the fridge, and some Dometics have another fuse on the outside. I've heard complaints from the purists about the new Dometics, but they are just fine with us.

New gas/absorption RV refrigerators all use a control board which needs a minimum 11.5VDC to operate. These control boards work all of the electric and LP heating functions of the unit, plus read the thermistor in the fridge section to maintain the set internal temperature and control the ice maker.......if you have one.

No 12VDC...........nothing happens! Be sure that you have connected a working 12VDC circuit to the white connection block that Dometic uses, generally found at the center of the of the outside rear access door of the fridge. Verify that the circuit does indeed have 12VDC. If not, look at your internal fuse panel for a blown fuse. It it does, look under the black cover for the fuse on the board.

Tracker, I have exact problem. I was searching this forum and found this thread. Did you figure out the problem. And, yes, I have 12 volts running. I am going to check the white connection block (if I can locate it!). I have 3 fuse switches in my control station above the front gaucho. Are these the one Lewster is referring to as possibly being blown? All of my other 12 v equipment works-lights, fan, and my new gas stove works, as well. Help?

Thanks for all the info. It turned out that I just did not have 12 volts to the unit. after running a line to the battery and thru a fuse for safety all is well.

Tracker, that is my problem, as well. Since I am not particularly handy, can you give me more detail on what to do? Many thanks
