Testing/replacing electric thermostat on 1964 Dometic
I have been troubleshooting my old fridge today. It works (tested safe and COLD on LP). My first inclination to the electric side not working was the heating element. It is working.
The on/off switch (gas/electric) is working.
I suspect the electric thermostat. Does anyone have advice on testing/replacing the thermostat? How about a source for the part? (I tried without success to source a heating element- and glad that is not the part needed at this time).
