This is the 3rd and toughest swap out I have done and I swear that AS built the trailer around the original RM66. But that is a tale for another time if someone needs to remove theirs.
The new 2510 is installed, perfectly leveled and runs perfect on AC. Logic and a 12V
terminal block dictate that it needs 12V
as well as LP, propane and 110V connected to the unit but there is nary a word in the installation or the operating manual about connecting 12V(which wasn't there for the old refer) to the new 2510. The 2510 is designed with an igniter on the lower panel and a light that goes out once the gas is lit so I am sure it needs 12V
to ignite...but again, nada in the manual.
I am going to tap off the 12v to the range/oven next door as a source for 12V but I would really like to hear from others more knowledgeable that I or with experience similar to this before I connect.
