Suggestions of Where to Find a Vintage Fridge?

So, we need to find a vintage fridge (believe the original was a Krefft) for a restoration of a '58 trailer to near-original condition. We've tried Craigslist; we've tried the classifieds here on the forums; put a call into some of the vintage trailer dealers. They're hard to come by!

I've also learned that they all DEFINITELY had different dimensions. Checked out a couple old Dometics from 1958-1960, but they're too big for the opening.

Any suggestions for where else to look? Or anyone know of any good junkyards in the midwest that take RVs? We still have time (restoration is a ways away), but the sooner we find all the pieces the better I'll feel!

And by the way, we don't necessarily need a working fridge... we're trying to complete an image, not create functionality.

Pics?

For those of you who have vintage fridges in your trailers (or garage, or storage shed, as the case may be), could you post some pictures of them?

Also, if you have dimensions (H x W x D), could you share those as well? It's much appreciated!!

Try a RV fridge repair shop. There is only 1 in Illinois that I know of and had my Dometic rebuilt there. Mine used ammonia instead of freon for refrigerant so not everybody can repair. Good luck

Thanks! Do you have the name of that shop, or is it easier to Google it? I've been a bit unsuccessful with my Google searches, but maybe I haven't used the right keywords...
