My Airstream dealer installed a new Dometic 3-Way RV refrigerfator in my '64 Overlander in 1999. There were no modifications to the exterior of the coach and only minor modifications to the cabinetry to achieve the proper fit of the new refrigerator. Thus far, I have had absolutely no performance problems with the unit. I rarely use the LP feature as I don't like LP appliances, but it has operated flawlessly on 12-volt DC as well as 120-volt AC.
Good luck with your project!
