Replacement Fridge

I am tossing the orig. Dometic on my 68GT. It still works but the freezer door is missing. I am getting a new dometic to put back in. Now the question is: Am I going to have to gut one of those crappy, cheep and ugly plastic door on the outside or will the hole with the mesh on the floor under the onld one be enough for the venting ( scoop still on the wall too)

Thanks, Igor

My Airstream dealer installed a new Dometic 3-Way RV refrigerfator in my '64 Overlander in 1999. There were no modifications to the exterior of the coach and only minor modifications to the cabinetry to achieve the proper fit of the new refrigerator. Thus far, I have had absolutely no performance problems with the unit. I rarely use the LP feature as I don't like LP appliances, but it has operated flawlessly on 12-volt DC as well as 120-volt AC.

Good luck with your project!

Kevin
