Remove a Dometic without blowing up or frying my person

Hello all,

I am in the process of stripping down my 76 Sovereign and I would like to remove the fridge so it can be checked out.

Does anyone have a step by step on the process?

I am also looking for a basic overview on removing/replacing interior rivets. Rivet sizes and brands would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Mikal

Fridge Test?

I think I'd try the refrigerator out, in place, if you have the proper gas & electric supplies connected to it? that might be easier than pulling it out & then having to reconnect it in order to test?

though, depending on the degree of disassembly going on, it might be as simple as: gas off; disconnect copper gas line; electrics off; disconnect wires; find the screws and take them out.....

best,
It isn't functioning at the moment so I figured I would take to my father inlaw's so he could have a look.

Thanks for the explanation.

Any thoughts on the rivets?

Be well.
