Refrigerator transplant

I was just given a Dometic refridgerator/freezer, model RM2600, gas-110v-12v. It came from a mid '70s RV, going into a '64 safari. Looks as new inside and out, so far it works on 110v. My question is, befor I bench test with 12v or propane should there be any controlls, ect that are not on the unit, other than the LP regulator. I would'nt want to ruin it due to ignorance

none on mine. no control boards or other such truck. just the typical gas thermocouple pilot light scheme. but then I don't think mine has a 12v heating element so it may be a different model.
