Refrigerator Light

1986 Excella. Refrigerator light not working? Is there a On Off switch for the light somewhere? Or do I need a new bulb?

Can't say from information given. Did it ever work? Get a new bulb and try it. If not that, could be the switch in the door. I'm not aware of a switch to turn it off, but the "low ambient" switch, if you have one, will turn it on all the time. If you have it, turn it on. If the bulb doesn't light, either bad bulb or wiring has been changed to keep it off.

If it is the same bulb as mine, just bend the prongs (2) out a little and reinsert. You may have to do both the bulb and the socket. By some extra bulbs next time because they have a way of getting away from you when they fall out of the socket. Be careful you don't eat bulb salad.

If its the original fridge that's the switch, or something very similar. The bulb should be available at any auto parts store, they are common for dome lights.
